A justification of a proposed software-based system is an argument given in order to increase confidence that the system, once implemented, will be successful in its environment. The work reported in this thesis is motivated by two problems with formal justification in the requirements engineering process: The approach is applied in this thesis through the provision of a highly modular style of object description, based on temporal logic, along with the use of a compositional reasoning method. The work is evaluated through a case study of a requirements engineering process.
To further this mission, the College of Engineering established distance engineering programs in This division, now Engineering Online, eliminates the barriers of the physical campus and engages students around the world. By providing distance engineering and computer science courses for both academic credit and professional development, Engineering Online allows distance learners to remotely access the same quality education and academic resources available to on-campus students.
The ECE Department distance education degree programs are limited to those individuals who work or reside in the United States and to United States military personnel serving overseas.
We accept International applications from applicants who are affiliated with a partnering corporation. Graduate Plans of Work The Plan of Work is a formal list of the courses a graduate student plans to enroll in to complete the academic requirements for a desired degree.
Examples of recommended Plans of Work in various specialty areas are given below. For students obtaining the degree of Master of Science in Engineering Management, both thesis and non-thesis options are available.
For either option, students are required to pass a comprehensive examination before a committee of graduate faculty members. Thesis requirements engineering. College of engineering degree requirements for a master of science degree with a thesis (30 total credits) will include 24 credit hours of course work and 6.
These requirements are the same as the “MS-Only with Thesis” unless the student participates in an accelerated, thesis-based program for outstanding undergraduates who have established research relationships with BME faculty members as outlined below.
The work reported in this thesis is motivated by two problems with formal justification in the requirements engineering process: the need to reason about models of the proposed system, assumptions concerning its environment, and the joint properties, or requirements, which the system should achieve with its environment.
